Message **Please don't bite my head off..(JUST WONDERING if anyone here can shed some light).

I have searched and read quite abit about how its better to buy SP 500's VS having a place like for example: [ www.turbochargers.com ] or majesticturbo.com, etc.. rebuild/upgrade the internals with the bigger T28 CHRA..

And quite a few members stated that the stock core internal design is less efficient, and hence, heat soak quicker, and basically aren't really that great past 15 PSI, even with the larger T28 upgrade due to its overall internal design; whether they grind out the inner housing or not also..

Many replies have been made, but after reading countless posts on the matter...

How does JWT or another similar major vendor change the design when they take your stock turbo's in as core charges?

What do they do different, that another rebuild place can't... if all that the big name brands do is "seemingly" rebuild from stock cores anyways..to fit the larger and new internal parts??

Please expand for the sake of knowledge,..

~M.
